CHARACTER: Despite her terrible life story, Joy is a friendly and affectionate retriever who gets along with other dogs and loves people, typical of the Golden Retriever breed.

HISTORY: Joy grew up on a short chain from a small puppy in a small garage filled with junk.

Food and water was infrequently supplied to her and it was very low quality.

Her only function was as an alarm system to bark at anyone passing by the garage.

When Joy’s owner passed away, a caring neighbor signalled us and we took Joy in.

She has since blossomed into a beautiful dog that we named Joy as she had no name from her late owner.

MEDICAL: Joy has been dewormed, fully vaccinated and castrated.
